I was bitten by the photography bug during my second year of high school when I happened upon a photography magazine on a newsstand rack while waiting for the CTA bus to school. Within a year I put together enough money from my summer job to buy a 35mm Minolta SRT-101 camera… fast forward, I now shoot with a Sony A6500 mirror-less camera and am fully digital having scanned 80% of all of my old photos. Needless to say I’ve taken many thousands of pictures since my younger days, though I wish I’d have taken more.
